Patapsco Trail race results are now available. The BRRC Board will evaluate continuing this race in the future due to the difficulty of finding volunteers on Mother’s Day. If local trail racing is important to you, please let us know how you can help deliver a BRRC-quality affordable event.
Congratulations to those who completed the 2008 Beginning Runners Program at Goucher this week! Some will be racing the Women’s Distance Festival this weekend and some will be trying other races soon.
BRRC runners of all experiences and abilities continue working out together Tuesday and Thursday nights at 6:30 throughout the year. All are welcome to drop by Goucher anytime!
Members of the Goucher training group that were not contacted directly by Heidi Shoemaker can find the flyer for her party here. All BRRC members are welcome at this benefit for Autism Awareness.
Saturday Long Runs have begun again, and meet this Saturday at Loch Raven. Ann Fraker and Bart Rein have stepped up to lead the group through the fall marathon season. More information below
The BRRC Family Picnic, Fun Runs, and Club awards have been reschedule to Sunday, June 29th. This year’s picnic will be hosted by Board Member Brian Flowers and his wife Margaret at their home in Sparks. Updated announcements and directions will follow soon.
Our next event is the Women’s Distance Festival this Sunday. Print and online applications are still being accepted. This is a premium race at Goucher College and part of the MDRRCA WDF Grand Prix Series.
Please see the information below!
Guess what, gentleman? Volunteers are still being accepted, too! Contact Christy St. Clair.
Now is the time to nominate members for Runner Of The Year awards in their categories! Awards will be presented at the Club Picnic in June. Please fill out a nomination form and return it to a Board member or the BRRC P.O. box.

The race also features a mother/daughter team category.

The race premium is a commemorative, all-weather poncho ("one size fits all"). Random prizes, race awards, and post-race refreshments follow at the track grandstands.

Please read the application for registration fees, award brackets, and directions to packet pickup at Sports Her Way in The Shops At Kenilworth (map). You can also register online through active.com.
